If you follow my blogs, you know I love shopping online.  I’m also strongly committed to giving back.  One of my primary charitable causes is the Institute for the Economic Empowerment of Women.  Our hallmark program is called Peace Through Business.  We educate women in Afghanistan and Rwanda on starting and building businesses.  It’s amazing and rewarding to watch these women grow through our program.

This year, as I shop for my friends and family, I can also give to my favorite charity.  It’s a website called We-Care.com.  The site has agreements with 2,600 merchants who are wiling to donate 3 – 5 percent of purchases to IEEW.  Our goal is to raise $25,000 by the end of the year to aid the global empowerment of women.
